Some Cards for Operation Write Home

Here are some pictures of cards I've made for Operation Write Home.  I'm to old, and not brave enough to fight in a war, to serve our country overseas, or to leave everyone I know to keep our country free.  One thing I can do is support those brave souls who do what I can not.  I do this by making hand-crafted cards to be sent to our heros so they will have something pretty to use to keep connected to their families.  Maybe you can do the same.  Check out their homepage:  Operation Write HomeThey also have a presence on Facebook you might want to check out.

So, here are pictures of some of the cards that have found their way to our heros stationed overseas.

I loved the fun colors in this card, so I made a duplicate to send to my grand daughter for her birthday.  The balloons were fun to color and some of my first work using Copic markers.

I loved the Stampin Up sentiment on this fun little card.  Kinda says it all.  Can you tell than lime green is one of my favorite colors?

The sunflower is something I've had in my stash and quite frankly I'm too lazy to get up right now and check the manufacture's name, but I will get it and post it later.  The image is colored in using Stampin Up water colored pencils.

More later, friends.  Tonight I'm tired and my bed is calling.
